Paper & Printing

Once you have been given final approval to print your thesis/project onto the "good" paper you will need to look for the following qualities in the paper:

1. Must be 8-1/2" x 11" bond


2. Must be 100% cotton


3. Must be white


4. Must be 16 pounds in weight or heavier (Note: No heavier than 24 pounds in weight)


5. The paper should also have a watermark that says "100% cotton fiber"

If you are unsure of the quality of paper, please bring a sample page to the Office of Graduate Studies (AD-127) to verify the right quality. Upon final approval of your thesis/project, you will be expected to submit three copies, which will be retained by the university. One copy MUST be on the "good" paper, printed from a laser printer and have the original signatures on the signature page. The other two copies must be on the "good" paper, but can be copied from the laser printed copy. You would also want to bring in any additional copies you intend to have bound for yourself.

If you choose to have your additional copies duplicated, please make sure to check that the margins remained within the requirements. There should also be no ink blemishes on any of the pages.
