Requirements (60-68 units) The M.S. in Health Services Administration is appropriate for students preparing to become health service administrators or managers in hospitals, health maintenance organizations, medical group clinic managers, nursing homes, public health departments, state and federal health agencies, military health services or other health service organizations. The program has three major objectives: (1) to enable students to integrate health science, health services, management and planning skills; (2) to develop the ability to conduct independent research; (3) to provide the intellectual stimulation and scholarly atmosphere aimed at developing leaders in the field. Specific entrance requirements have been established by the university and the Department of Health Science and Human Ecology.
